Believe it or not, it's easier to post replies on the support forum with a raging migraine than it is to play alpha tester.
Why? Because I can almost post on the forum without thinking. Trying to figure out - and break - a system that (while based on MT) is still new territory requires a level of thinking that this 4 day migraine just won't permit me.
Like Kristine mentioned, there's a lot going on for us. Forum, Alpha, Plugin Manager. Add to that the emails (some extremely nasty!) I'm getting from users, my own neglected site, and the also-neglected-by-me Virtual Venus, and it's probably easy to see why the only thing I've really managed to do over the past 4 days is forum support.
Scary when something like that becomes a no-brainer, isn't it??
The only thing I've managed to do to stem the tide is let my PM Inbox on the forum fill up, so I don't get it from that direction as well.
The downside is that, having missed the last three days of work, I will be in hell-mode trying to play catch-up next week. The stress of that only increases the chances of getting another migraine.
It's a vicious cycle. But it's my real job that's to blame, not these side projects. The side projects are challenging fun; my real job is what's wearing me down. =(
Edit: Oh my, I forgot about the MT Wiki - add that to our list of projects. No one could ever accuse us of taking on too little at once. Heh.
Please feel free to forward me the emails you're receiving. I'm not going to stand for people attacking the people that help them most.

I sent it to your dollarshort address. Just one jerk, but he was a big jerk.
Gosh, this font is tiny. Hope you all have your browsers set to Large Text, hehe.

Do you really get tons of PMs and hate emails? What the hell is wrong with people?
And girlie--if you got a migraine, take a break! And some botox. It was originally developed for migraine issues.
No, really!

I've pretty much taken a four-day break. The past three days I slept more than I was awake. I'm just a fast typer. =)
Botox? Isn't that the stuff they shoot into your forehead to make the space between your eyebrows immobile? =P

Indeed. Indeed.

I totally know the feelings you are having. I don't have the job issues, but my health, and now my niece's health is weighing heavily on my mind. I really needed to devote all of last week to MT-stuff. But then I got sicker again. Ugh. I'm thinking good thoughts that next week will be better :)
